I highly recommend Mark - whether it is to learn driving from scratch or to take refresher lessons. He is an exceptional instructor - incredibly patient, honest and supportive. He always remained calm and never raised his voice even in tricky situations, he is very good at knowing what you would benefit from even when you don't really know yourself, and he prepares you really really well for the test. I benefitted most from "mock practical tests", which upon speaking to friends is not a standard driving instructor procedure. I am very grateful Mark realised that I would benefit from such a learning scenario and suggested this approach to me. He is easy to talk to and great at explaining rules and situations retrospectively. I feel Mark did a fantastic job and making sure I am road-safe not just for but also for after I've passed the test.

My instructor Mark was really great. He was patient, honest and very calm which really put me at ease. It is nerve-wracking beginning the process of learning to drive but Mark took the time to work with me to help me overcome my nerves, build my confidence and become a good driver. I passed first time and more importantly feel like I'm equipped with the skills I need to drive safely now that the test is over. Mark is clearly passionate about his job and therefore puts a lot of effort into making sure he is up-to-date on the latest teaching techniques and rules of the road. Logistically, setting up lessons was incredibly easy and Drive Wright Scotland were very flexible so I was able to fit my lessons around my busy and ever-changing schedule. They are professional yet friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is thinking of learning to drive. A thoroughly great experience from start to finish!

Mark is an exceptional instructor; patient, good at explanations and in possession of a sense of humour (which, for someone who once found herself simply circling a roundabout without leaving at either the right exit nor the two after it, helped a lot!). As an initially nervous driver who had quit the attempt to learn after a terrible lesson with a previous instructor, I was so pleased to discover that I could actually drive. Mark is much less interested in just prepping people to pass the test than in making sure his students are confident and safe drivers (who will, therefore, pass the test). Had my first solo drive today & it went splendidly. Thanks so much!

I cannot reccomend Drive Wright Scotland enough; Mark is thorough and clear, but also kind, approachable, and patient. He teaches in a way that prepares you for the test whilst building your confidence and skills as a driver for life. I can't fault Mark at all. After having had a couple of other instructors in Edinburgh, he's been the best by many miles. Lessons are structured, take place in a variety of places and progress is monitored. Mark's clearly passionate about cars, driving and most importantly; passing on knowledge on how to be safe.
