I would highly recommend John at Liverpool Driving School to anyone who is wanting to learn to drive. I took my driving test in August 2020 and passed first time with only 3 minor faults and I was absolutely delighted with the result! 🚗💨 John’s teaching technique is brilliant – he’s patient, calming and very proficient at what he does. As a late starter to driving (I’m 29), John boosted my confidence and really helped to subside any anxieties that I had about being behind the wheel. Another thing I would like to mention is that throughout the COVID crisis, John's communication with myself regarding restrictions and availability of lessons was second to none. He's been consistent when providing updates, advice and gave me some much-needed reassurance during such a strange time.

What a brilliant, calm and professional instructor! Couldn't recommend John enough. Very thorough lessons have allowed me to pass with only 2 minors today. As someone who has put off learning to drive due to anxiety, I never thought I'd be able to say I passed my test! John was always able to keep me calm under pressure and was always supportive of this. Always discussed any errors I made courteously, allowing me to reflect and learn after each lesson. After failing my driving test twice with a different driving school, John at Liverpool Driving School helped me pass with only 1 minor at Garston test centre. His expert tuition helped me build confidence and the know-how to be able to pass the test and be confident on the roads after. 2 hour lessons were key to this and definitely best practice. John had a calm manner, was never late to a lesson and could fit me in last minute around my availability. He identified my weaknesses on the first lesson and got me up to scratch in no time. I would 100% recommend John to any first time learners or those who are looking for a fresh start after failing a test. He was great!

Legendary driving instructor! Passed my driving test first time round at 27 with only five minor faults. I literally had no previous driving experience and don't own a car- so really relied on the two hours a week I spent with John. He was calm, patient and had me well prepared for all aspects of the theory and practical exams. Couldn't recommend a better instructor.
