Changes to the service to book and manage driving tests

Changes to the service to book and manage driving tests for your pupils
DVSA are further clarifying their terms and conditions to address misuse of the system that you use to book and manage driving tests for your pupils.
From 1 July 2025, users who have had their online accounts with DVSA closed for booking violations will no longer be able to swap test bookings through our customer service centre.
This follows DVSAs January 2025 update that restricted the service to legitimate driving instructors and their employers only, prohibiting:
• booking tests for learners you do not teach
• creating 'placeholder' bookings to swap later
These measures ensure driving tests are fairly available to those who genuinely need them.
You must accept the updated terms and conditions through your account to continue using the service from 1 July.
