I took driving lessons with Gordon for around a four month period. From the onset, Gordon was approachable and informative. He was very welcoming and I felt safe and confident with him from my first lesson, with the exceedingly high standards of teaching that I was receiving from him. Gordon was a very flexible driving instructor, whom would often spend afternoons with me focusing on a particular aspect of my driving and perfecting any areas that needed to be aided. I also used Gordon's drive with a friend service, which is great as it enabled me to learn from another learner driver and also boost my confidence by having advice from another passenger in the car. I found Gordon offered extremely high value for money in comparison with other driving instructors I had researched and that he would be flexible to meet your requirements in regard to how long you wished to drive for. Having spent many years having lessons, with many different instructors, I became disillusioned that I would never drive. I struggled finding an instructor who taught to match my learning style. From the moment I got into the car with Gordon, I felt comfortable and calm. Gordon ensures he relates theory to practice Being a logical thinker, it was exactly what I needed. I started looking tomard to my lessons and began to improve week after week. Gordon is the best value tor money instrucutor I have ever Known. We even spent an hour every week in a cafe talking theory over a coffee, tor which there was no charge. Gordon uses a 'learner centred appoarch': as I am a teacher I understand how valuable this is. Gordon didn't only teach me what I neede to know to pass my test He, taught me 'advanced-driving techniques' and 'defensive driving' , to ensure that after I pass my test I stay sate. I started driving lessons with Gordon in January 2014. At first I was very nervous and apprehensive but soon felt at ease with Gordons tutoring skills. He has a very calming manner and memorable phrases which are easy for you to remember. What I enjoyed the most was the thoroughness and the attention to detail which contributed to me becoming a more conscientious and safer driver. Often we would break the lesson up by going to a cafe where we would discuss theory and situations regarding other road users and general knowledge of the Highway Code. I found this very interesting and always asked questions which Gordon was happy to answer. Gordon is very approachable and enthusiastic which I found infectious and made me more determined to pass my test. After 5 months of driving with Gordon he suggested I put in for my test, which I did and passed first time. Whilst taking my test I felt safe with the knowledge which I obtained during my lesson's with Gordon. I would recommend Gordon to anybody who wants to learn to drive.

He has a lot of experience and was profes- sional throughout, from the first to the last lessom Lessons consisted of practical driving and theory, combined to provide full and thorough teaching and training aimed to produce a safe, confident and good driver. Theory sessions took place in café's during a driving break. These sessions provided deeper understanding which could be directly related to the driving experience. The time spent on these in no way detracted from time spent behind the wheel on the road; in fact, overall the amount of hours spent behind the wheel far exceeded the money I paid.
