How to add a new driving lesson in GoRoadie Pro

Focus on teaching and let GoRoadie Pro become your digital diary with rock-solid lesson scheduling.

Step by step:

  1. Add a lesson at any time from the Quick Menu. Accessed it via the green "+" button in the bottom right of your screen.
  2. Select a date and start time. The duration, vehicle, locations and type of lesson are automatically set, and quick to change.
  3. Tap an alternative lesson duration, rather than struggle to work out the exact end time.
  4. Lesson Preview highlights conflicts, even from connected, external calendars, so you avoid double-bookings.
  5. Optionally, add a note to a lesson, letting you share something with your pupil beforehand, to ensure you both get the most out of the session.
  6. View your recently added lessons in your the Day or Week view of your Diary.
  7. Key details are synced to your devices calendar, so your schedule is always to hand, no matter where you are.

Your pupil will receive a confirmation of the lesson, a reminder just before your cancellation window and a final reminder the day before, where they’ll be able to “Check in”, just like a flight. Check-in gives you peace-of-mind by sending you a notification as soon as your pupil confirms their attendance, so you know they’re still committed.

And, whilst COVID-19 is still in our communities, Check-in also provides a risk assessment, helping to keep you and your pupils safe. It’s instant, automatic and paperless, saving you time and hassle.

Easy Guide

Now that you’ve added your first pupil, let’s add a lesson. You can add a lesson directly from their profile, or by using the quick menu.

Tap ‘lesson’, then choose a pupil.

All you need to do is select a date and start time. The duration, vehicle, locations and type of lesson are automatically set, and quick to change — Just tap an alternative duration, rather than struggle to work out the exact end time. GoRoadie Pro uses Smart Suggest to recommend start times and Lesson Preview highlights conflicts, even from connected, external calendars, so you avoid double-bookings.

You can even add a note, letting you share something with your pupil beforehand, to ensure you both get the most out of the session.

Press ‘Add’, and viola, your lesson is booked. View it from your Diary in the Day or Week view, or from the Home screen, which gives a focussed look of the work day ahead.
