Training to be a Driving Instructor

Background

To become a an approved driving instructors you must cover the following:

  • Be older than 21 years old.
  • Hold a full car licence for more than 3 years

There are several steps to take in order to become an ADI. Like getting a criminal record check, starting the ADI qualifying process, taking driver training, pass three ADI qualifying tests and then applying for your ADI badge.

Being a driving instructor is a highly rewarding job with high job satisfaction, there is the opportunity to meet new instructors and students on a daily basis. Your work as an ADI will help and improve the lives of those you teach.

You could be your own boss and earn up to £45,000.

Driving Instructor training includes practice scenarios and and taking part in mock tests.
