If it's been a while since you last drove a car, maybe it's time for a Refresher Driving Course. If you are worried about driving at night, or about driving in ice, or maybe driving on a motorway, a refresher course may be ideal for you. Learner drivers or drivers who have passed their practical driving test often take refreshers courses to either progress or get ready for their first car.
People take a bit of time out from driving for all sorts of reasons. Perhaps if you've lived overseas for a while where your driving licence wasn't valid and you didn't want to spend the money re-learning, or perhaps living somewhere that driving simply wasn't required - a self contained quiet, remote place or a city with great public transport infrastructure.
