Hi my name is Melanie and I enjoy driving for both work and pleasure.
I am also a motorcyclist, qualified ambulance driver, horse rider and lorry driver. Therefore, I bring genuine insight of vulnerable road users, to my role as a driving instructor.
My teaching approach is student centered and my style is friendly and fun. I recently got back in the learners seat, to qualify as an ambulance driver (CERAD qualification)
Because of this I fully appreciate the perspective of being a student driver and having trust and confidence in your driving instructor.
I will continue my learning journey and have ambitions to experience driving tanks, super cars and artic lorries.
I enjoy supporting students with their own driving goals, including people who may find learning to drive a more difficult or daunting experience.
I positively welcome students from diverse backgrounds and look forward to meeting you, learning what motivates you and helping you on your journey to driving confidence.
My loves are my family, friends, music, dogs and horses. I teach in an automatic Toyota Auris Hybrid and I’m am available to teach in NG9, NG8, NG10, DE72, DE21, DE24 and surrounding areas
