We are delighted to announce that Knowledgeablee Instructor Training has been awarded the prestigious title of Community of the Year 2025.
Founded by Mick Knowles and Lee Jowett, Knowledgeablee Instructor Training has become a vital resource for driving instructors across the UK. With a focus on continuous professional development, they provide structured training, mentorship, and an engaging community that supports both new and experienced instructors in improving their skills and confidence.
Their flagship offering, the KIT Video Hub, is widely praised for its comprehensive library of training content, helping instructors refine their teaching techniques, prepare for Standards Checks, and grow their businesses. In addition, their highly rated in-person workshops—such as the CCL and SC courses—offer hands-on learning, networking opportunities, and valuable industry insights. One participant described their training as "outstanding, informative, and fun—exceptional value for money," while another highlighted the practical application of new teaching strategies they gained from attending a course.
The impact of Knowledgeablee Instructor Training extends beyond structured learning. Their active Facebook community provides a supportive space where instructors can seek advice, share experiences, and stay updated on industry best practices. With a 100% recommendation rate from over 2,400 followers, their influence on the driving instruction profession continues to grow. This award recognizes their unwavering dedication to fostering an inclusive, knowledgeable, and forward-thinking instructor community.
Congratulations to Knowledgeablee Instructor Training on this well-deserved accolade!
We spoke to Mick from KIT on winning:
Thank you to everybody who voted for us. To be shortlisted in 3 categories, winning two of them and being highly commended in the other is awesome.
It’s winning awards like this that inspire us to push ourselves further and the many PDIs and ADIs who come to us for training.
We were up against some great people within the industry. People like Chris Bensted, Terry Cook and Neil Wightman.
We will endeavour to take the industry further forward and help to move it away from the basic level training that we see elsewhere. Such as See it, say it, suss it which is outdated!
This year the Highly Commended award goes to Becky Seaton. A strong showing from Becky who has been a driving force in the industry. We wish her all the best for the future.
