ADI Code of Practice (ADI COP) in Liverpool

Background

The approved driving instructor (ADI) code of practice sets out how ADIs should behave with their pupils.

What the code of practice is

The code of practice is voluntary for ADIs to follow. It sets out how ADIs should;

  • behave in their personal conduct and business dealings
  • advertise their services
  • settle disputes with their pupils

Driving Instructor who have updated their ADI registration can advertise they agree to the code.

If you are having driving lessons and are unhappy with how your instructor is behaving or their service; you can complain to the DSA.
