The award for Association of the Year goes to a newly created, but the highly engaged Midlands Instructor Group in Nottingham.
A huge congratulations to them and their chairman David Rabusin and fantastic committee and members.
The association is regularly in touch with their members, supplying the latest DVSA news through their Facebook Group and they have monthly meetups with guest speakers from Test Centres to Mindfulness Coaches to other provided CPD sessions.
We spoke to Chairman, David Rabusin, about their win and he told us this:
On behalf of all our members, I’m proud to accept the GoRoadie Award for Association of the Year.
Our association had a difficult beginning, but the desire of the members to be part of a collective, to want to improve themselves professionally, to want to improve driver awareness and road safety, led to everyone pulling together tremendously.
We are now going from strength to strength, holding regular meetings with local test centre managers and examiners, building fantastic partnerships with industry professionals, like our work with GoRoadie, helping us to increase our membership and grow our association, we are truly working together to improve our industry.
