The award for Influencer of the Year goes to Francis Noakes.
Massive congratulations to Francis for winning this award. It's probably no surprise that this category had more votes than any other - featuring heavy weights in the short list. Francis came out on top and this is due to his large following of not only learner drivers but instructors across the board.
Francis started his career in coaching and eventually moved into Driver Training where he is now building up his own brand and driving school under Driving School Tv. The YouTube channel now has over 13 thousand subscribers and this is growing every week. Their instagram currently sits are around 2,500 subscribers and we can all expect this to grow again over the next 12 months. As much as Francis reaches out with learner drivers, his reputation with ADIs and PDIs is also noteworthy.
We spoke to Francis about his win and he told us this:
Wow!! Thank you Go Roadie for this incredible award! It’s a true testament to the strength and positivity of the DrivingSchoolTV community that we’ve built up, and validation for the thousands of hours I’ve put into the YouTube videos. This is only the beginning of the movement to make learning to drive safe, fun and enjoyable and we’ll keep growing and learning to drive together for many years to come!
Of course, Influencer of the Year was going to be hotly contested, receiving over a thousand votes and we just had to shout out the tight-second place winner; Mick Knowles. Mick has been running The Driving Instructor Development podcast for years with thousands of listeners, and 100s of interactions of Facebook it's clear to see why Mick and his podcast are so popular. The Podcast has had over 40 episodes and an array of high profile instructor guests. It's definitely worth checking out.
