GoRoadie is wins commended "Side Hustle of the Year" in London

DUNDEE, UNITED KINGDOM. GoRoadie, a Scotland-based Startup, has won the Commended Award for "Side Hustle of the Year" during the 15th Annual UK Startups Awards due to the team working full-time in other jobs when the nomination was released.

The Startups Awards is a highly competitive competion, with hundreds of companies up for awards sponsored by the likes of AXA, The Start-Up Loans Company, Oracle and GoDaddy.

"We are absolutely thrilled that we managed to take an award like this home with us. The last year has been intense, with both myself and Michael commuting every day and creating GoRoadie at night. Having this recognition makes it all worth it." Barry White, one of GoRoadie's co-founders explained. "Its great to bring the award home to Dundee."

The Dundee Startup is currently taking part in the Elevator accelerator programme hosted by Dundee University.

"This is further evidence that Dundee is the place for innovation." Michael Carr, the other co-founder told us. "We are building a truly innovate platform in the heart of the city, and aim to start creating jobs in the next 12 months."

The company are continuing to expand through the UK.
