New Year 2018 Update

The New Practical Test! As you know the DVLA, on December 1st 2017, brought in some changes to the practical driving test. We want the best for students that find instructors through GoRoadie. We also want to make your lives as easy as possible. With that in mind we updated our lesson review tool to include the changes to the test format and the manoeuvres included within the new test.

We even explained all the changes to the practical driving test,so that students too can understand the changes.

Driving Student Help Pages We have also given our student help pages a small update in an attempt to make them as useful as possible. We continue to edit content on GoRoadie, wither it’s help content for yourself, guides on how to build better profiles or to help students pass their test faster.

Propose New Time Acceptance Rate As an instructor you may have seen the “Propose New Time” feature after receiving a booking request from a student. What you are unlikely to have seen is what the student sees on the other side of this interaction. Previously the experience wasn’t great for students. However we have revamped this for them and they are now more likely to accept your proposed new times.

Mobile Sign Up Although this is not a change you are likely to see, we have spent some time improving the instructor sign up flow. Previously the mobile experience was overly verbose and on some devices difficult to use The new flow is slick, easy to understand and intuitive, we hope this will increase the number of instructors on the site and in turn increase the numbers of students coming to the site to find instructors.
