The association is regularly in touch with their members, supplying the latest DVSA news through their Facebook Group and they have monthly meetups with guest speakers from Test Centres to Mindfulness Coaches to other provided CPD sessions.
We spoke to the Secretary, Richard Gillmore, about their win and he told us this:
On behalf of the Committee and Members of Wirral APDI we would like to thank GoRoadie and DIA for the Association of the Year award.
It’s great to be recognised for what we do for our members and thank you to everyone who voted for us.
For the first year, this strong association came in as a highly commended runner up. Disability Driving Instructors Association, massive congratulations. This association helps people with physical disabilities, special educational needs and those with hearing difficulties.
