GoRoadie pulls into Liverpool

LIVERPOOL, UNITED KINGDOM. The award-winning startup GoRoadie is connecting learner drivers in the Liverpool and Merseyside.

Founded in 2018, the platform has already helped 10,000 learner drivers across the UK find and book their driving instructor - all with a tap of their button on their phone. This means for driving instructors they can have more time at home and less time chasing potential pupils.

Michael Carr, co-founder of GoRoadie, said: “Launching in Liverpool is our biggest milestone to date. Lockdown here wasn't easy for driving instructors and so by brining this new product into Liverpool, we hope to spur on new business for these independent hard working driving instructors.

“For us, our mission is to improve the quality of life of Approved Driving Instructors whilst giving learner drivers unparalleled choice. The number of bookings and instructors is now continuously increasing month on month. Last month over 500 students booked their driving lesson through our platform, up over 100% from the previous month.“

“This launch in Liverpool is key to our national growth plan with our ultimate goal being job creation. In the next 12 months we aim to recruit five employees, while continuing to support instructors who work for national franchises become independent. Our ambition is to be synonymous with driving lessons, such that Airbnb is with flat shares.“

Commenting on the platform, newly signed-up driving instructor Michael Boulton, Learn2Drive, said: “It’s great! I usually receive pupils from recommendations, but you always need a help every now and again"

Early this year, GoRoadie completed their Seed Round Investment and are now prepping to scale up across the UK.
