We have all experienced the pain of trying to find a parking space. Here's your guide to the best free and paid car parks in and around Leeds.

Free Car Parks

Crown Point Shopping Centre, Junction Street

If you need to nip into the Crown Point Shopping Centre, well rest assured it's free to park here. It's still a 21 minute walk or a 16 hour bus ride to reach the city centre.

Cardigan Fields

Right on the River Aire, there is free parking. Although it is 30 minutes from the city centre, it is near the university which is ideal for students.

Burley Park Station

Near Burley and Hydepark area which has gyms, mosques and student bars there is also glorious free parking.

Elland Road Park & Ride, Beeston, Leeds

Down south of the city is Elland Road Park and Ride. This is perfect if you're coming in for a day trip, drop the car off to save your cash on expensive parking spaces in Leeds.

King Lane Park & Ride, Leeds

Located North of the city, you can again drop your car off and get a 40 minute bus journey into the city centre. Again, saving your hard ender cash.

In the centre there are a ton of parking spots to find. Here’s the list of the best ones:

  • Wellington Street
  • Westgate
