GoRoadie Update for January 2021
We wanted to share a quick update that we hope you will find useful during this time. From new financial fund for ADIs to our webinar announcement.
Helping ADIs & PDIs Financial Support
Two ADIs, Bobbie Hicks and Susan McDonald, have setup a fund for driving instructors that are struggling to make ends meet. They are being back by NASP and ADINJC too, so far they have raised over £23,500. You can find out more, donate or request help here.
GoRoadie Webinars Launches Next Week
Whilst there is some down time, we are putting together webinars to help share knowledge across the country.
Our first webinar will be on February 4th, starting at 3pm and last approx. 1 hour.
We are joined with Derek Young from Aberdeen and District Association, Chris Bensted from The DITC and Neil Wightman from Hinckley Driver Training. They will be sharing their tips on how to get the most of your local association.
You can attend for FREE, register now.
When will tests resume again?
The DVSA said that the suspension on tests would remain in place until the lockdown restrictions are lifted.
England will review its rules on 15 February, while Scotland and Northern Ireland will review theirs 17 February (estimated) and 18 February respectively.
Wales will review its lockdown measures on 29 January. All indications, however, are that lockdown is likely to continue for another three weeks.
Non Starter Reminder
A reminder that when learner drivers get in touch with you through GoRoadie, you can always add a free credit back on to your account if you don't successfully arrange that first lesson.
If you're under how to do this, you can find out more here.
